Chocolate Bourbon Pots de Creme
Ingredients
4 oz
Dark Chocolate
2
Egg Yolks
1/4 Cup
Coconut Sugar
1/8 tsp
Sea Salt
1 tsp
Vanilla Extract
1 Cup
Heavy Cream
1 Tbsp
Double Oaked
Instructions
Step 1
Whisk the heavy cream, egg yolks, sugar and sea salt in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 2
Stir constantly until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of the spatula, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 3
Pour the mixture in a heat proof bowl over your chocolate and let it sit for about 2 minutes. Add the Bourbon and vanilla and then whisk until smooth.
Step 4
Divide the mixture among your chosen cups and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours but overnight if you want it to be more on the thick side.
Step 5
Top with whipped cream and pair with a glass of Woodford Reserve Bourbon.
